EDUCATION IS A HUMAN RIGHT
In recruiting students for our sponsorship program, Haiti One by One goes the extra mile to ensure that equality is extended to everyone in each community we work in.
BRIDGING THE GAPWe recognize the gaps and limited options which conceal hidden strengths within students. Despite circumstances or age, Haiti One by One will consider all those who wish to return to learning as we expand through vocational outlets, mentoring, counseling etc.

CREATING EQUALITYWe offer students fair opportunity
to reduce adversity and injustice. By focusing on the education system, we are breaking down systemic barriers which have kept many oppressed due to gender and economic status. |
OPENING OPPORTUNITYIlliteracy rate in Haiti is nearly 50% compare to the neighboring country. Dominican Republic has an average of 20%.Through student sponsorship we are opening the doors of opportunity for hundreds.

THE HISTORY RUNS DEEP
In 2001, Beraca Community Development Corporation (BCDC) was established by Beraca Baptist Church based in Brooklyn, NY and affiliated with Converge Worldwide, for the purpose of extending ministry deeper into community.
Recognized by diverse Haitian leadership, Creole language capacity and operations in Haiti, BCDC acquired the Student Sponsorship Program from Converge in September 2020.
Today, Haiti One by One collaborates with the network of BCDC which has a wide breadth of churches and leaders across the nation of Haiti. All together, we seek to expand by actively developing critical steps to increase and improve educational opportunities.
